I'll start off by saying, THEY ARE NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED. But I figured I should still leave a long overdue review. There's no place that comes even close to Boiling Point within a 10 mile radius. I've been coming to this location ever since they opened and I'll always have a hole in my heart for this Boiling Point. I've always gotten the #4 which is the beef Hot Soup and it's always the same, no surprises. The portions are always just enough and my cravings are always satisfied. I'll miss this place so much :(

Pretty solid hot pot though it's hard to get over how expensive these meals can get, depending on how many additional ingredients you order. I ordered their beef hot soup with medium spiciness for takeout during covid-19. The broth had just the right amount of heat and flavor. The beef was reasonably tender. The soup was pretty packed with vegetables (a mini corn on the cob, some greens and mushrooms), fish cakes, and vermicelli noodles. They also included three additional sauces, including some yummy hot sauce. Perhaps the cutest thing was that they branded one of their fish cakes with "IBP" ("I love Boiling Point" lol)

I've been to Boiling Point many times in this location and the one in Fremont and I definitely prefer this place over Tasty Pot. Boiling Point is always consistent with their broth, ingredients, and customer service. Boiling Point's broth is just a lot more tasty, ironically. There's a lot more flavor between the different type you order whereas in my opinion Tasty Pot's broth tastes the same in all the different flavored pots. The ingredients are always fresh and it fills me right up. I also love their drinks, their boba drinks alone are also very delicious. I also recently ordered their hot pot kit to go and am loving it! I think it's a such a good deal where you can choose the broth you want and your choice of meat. It was enough for two people. It also comes in this cute lunch box which I'm excited to use as well

I love personal hotspots so much. I remember the days of waiting 1+ hours to be seated at bp in SoCal.. Not a problem at this location! I love how spacious this boiling point is and I've rarely had to wait for a seat no matter what time I've come (although I admit I usually come close to when they open for the day). But for those times when there are waits, they have a pretty good waiting system where they'll text you when your table is open. Exactly the same food as the ones down in SoCal, but slightly higher prices and you can't choose between vermicelli and rice (only comes with rice sadly). You can also get a free tea during lunch. My favorite ones are the beef, lamb, Korean bean paste, and Taiwanese spicy. My top is probably Taiwanese but it is pretty rough on your stomach and a guaranteed stomachache because of how spicy it is. I love it though and it's filled with stuff. My bf and I will share this one since it's a larger size and get extra veggies sometimes. On most other pots you can customize the spicy level which is great. Don't forget to ask for more soup as needed and if you want your fire off/turned back on you just have to ask. They also have seasonal hotspot items that they'll come out with every once in awhile! There's street parking in this area or a parking garage a block over, and the prices are pretty good for parking. I wish they would open one close to the city! But for until then, I'll make the 30 min drive down to eat this.

I'm honestly not a huge hot pot person, but Boiling Point hits the spot on those cold and rainy SF winter days. I came recently for Sunday dinner with 3 others. There was a wait; we arrived a little after 7 and was seated maybe 30 minutes later. Not great, but not terrible either. Ordering is pretty straightforward; you pick the soup base and spice level and that's it! Since it was my first time, I played it safe and went with the #1 house special ($15.96 for dinner), which has pork as the main meat. The food came out fairly quickly and was piping hot. The server also lit a fire under my pot so that the contents don't cool down before the end of the meal. It ended up being too hot for me, so I asked someone to put out the fire halfway through. I enjoyed my house special pot. It was pretty standard as far as these one-pot pots go, but the garlic soy sauce I used was delicious. The portion was decent sized; I wasn't super hungry at the beginning of the meal and had trouble finishing by the end, especially with the bowl of rice. One of my friends got the #9 tonkotsu miso. I tried a bite and really liked it, so next time I come I'm trying it!
